How do I register and become a Guinness World Records member?

We have created a new Members Area that requires a registration. The registration process is quick, easy and completely free. You need to register before you can make a record application. Once registered you can access your user account as often as you wish to check the progress of your claim, check the status of the record you applied for, make a new claim and use one or our premium services.

1. To register and become a Guinness World Record member please click on the link Register here.
2. If you have made an application before please enter your existing Membership No or Email Address, and your old Password and click on Find me. We will retrieve your personal details and display them on the page. If you have forgotten your old password, please click on "Resend my old password". The old password will be sent to your email address. Please note that you will only need the old password to retrieve your details the first time you register in the new Members Area.
   
   
   1. Check that all the details displayed on the page are correct and make all necessary amendments.
   2. Once you have checked your details please create your GWR User ID by entering your email address and choosing a new password which you will use every time you want to gain access to the Members Area.
   3. Please make sure that your new password contains a combination of letters, numbers and special characters (e.g. $_%*#). Do not include spaces.
   4. To help you retrieve your password in case you forget it, please fill out the section "If You Forget Your Password".
   5. "Create Account" to create your account using your existing membership.
3. If you have never made an application please skip the Retrieve your personal details box and fill out your details as normal.
   
   
   1. Once you have entered your details in the section "Your Personal Details" please create Your GWR User ID by entering your email address and choosing a new password which you will use every time
   2. Please make sure that your new password contains a combination of letters, numbers and special characters (e.g. $_%*#). Do not include spaces.
   3. To help you retrieve your password in case you forget it, please fill out the section "If You Forget Your Password".
   4. Click on "Create Account" to create your account using your existing membership.
4. Once you have submitted your details, you will receive a link to unlock your account by email. If you do not receive this email within 30 minutes please click on Email Approval Key to receive it again.
5. Once your account has been unlocked you will receive an email of confirmation.
